Free sport, Free sun, Free activity, Free fun
Following the fabulous success of the Picnic at Pinkie during last years Riding of the Marches the Musselburgh Community Sport Hub as part of this years Musselburgh Festival is putting on another come and try sports day for all our community. We have numerous sports activities going on for all to try so why not come along and have some fun. There is something for everyone with Golf, Football, Tennis, Hockey, Rugby, cricket and more.
We are also happy to have the Fisherrow Waterfront group on board providing all day activity on the South sands starting at 10am including free activity from our member clubs Fisherrow Yacht club and Eskmuthe Rowing club. All ages and abilities can get involved in Volleyball, Tug of War, sand castle competitions, taster sessions and more. There is also a great opportunity for all our community to take part in Musselburgh District Athletics Club fun run as part of their festival 10k. If all this isn't enough Sthere is a festival bowls competition on at the Bowling club and Scottish Golf in association with East Lothian Golf have fun activity starting on the pitch and putt at 3pm.
Now if all that is not a reason to get down to Fisherrow Saturday 22nd July I don't know what is??? A schedule of the day's activities can be found below so get sharing, tell your friends, your family or just bring you wonderful self. The great thing about our local clubs is they are open, inclusive and part of a bigger supportive network. Just waiting for you. Any questions on the day come and find us at the CSH Gazebo. You will also find below our Passport to Sport. Print one off, get the activities signed off and try everything Musseblurgh Community Sport Hub has to offer.
See you all there. :)
