“The Celebrating Sport awards provide an opportunity to recognise the amazing diversity of sporting achievements in East Lothian.
The achievements of the people in East Lothian are truly inspiring with success being obtained at county, regional and international level. A new award has been introduced this year, ‘Inspiring in East Lothian’ , in recognition of the ‘unsung heroes’ who may have overcome adversity to become inspirational role models through sport or physical activity. The backbone of the sports community, the coaches and volunteers, are also recognised and I look forward to meeting the nominees at the event”
