Falcons U17 Rugby Programme Gets Underway

East Lothian Falcons U17’s scheduled to play two fixtures vs Borders U17’s in November and December

As part of the preparation for the BT Regional Academy U18 fixtures in the summer of 2017, the East Lothian Falcons U17 programme has got underway recently. This includes training sessions at Meadowmill followed by two fixtures against the Borders U17’s. A combined East Lothian and Borders team will then be selected to take on Newcastle Falcons U17’s in February.

This programme gives the players a chance to put their hands up for selection for the BT Regional Academy squad which will play Academy fixtures in the summer. There are a number of players in the squad that have already experienced U18 Regional Academy rugby this season and their experience will be valuable to the current group of U17 players. There are also some talented young players involved for the first time, hoping to show that they are ready to make the step up to the next level.

Wed 30^th November: 7.15pm KO at Meadowmill Sports Centre

Mon 19^th November: 6pm KO at Gala 3G
