A beautiful East Lothian day made the inaugural Schools festival of 7's a shining success
6 Schools, 29 teams, 90 games of Rugby and more than 300 participants and volunteers enjoyed a day to remember at Meadowmill Sports Centre where the Inaugural East Lothian Schools Festival of Rugby Sevens made the most of the late Autumn sun.
Fergus Pringle, Rugby Development officer and organiser of the event said
It's great to see such a turn out from all the schools in all age groups. The support from the pupils and teachers has been tremendous. To see 11 girls teams out playing tag rugby is great for the sport in East Lothian. I couldn't be prouder.
