Junior Golf season in full swing in the sunshine

O'Connor and Holt take top points

Our second Bank Holiday Stableford was held at North Berwick’s Children’s Course on Monday 23^rd May.  There was another almost full capacity turnout of 34 players all enjoying the sunshine and a day off school.

The competition was again played in two divisions:

1. Handicap Division: players with official handicaps or that have completed a Stephen Gallacher Flag event in 36 shots of less.
2. Non Handicap Division = players without official handicaps and haven’t yet broken 36 shots

Handicap Winner:  Congratulations Jamie O’Connor (Gullane) who had 25 points and beat Izzie Ratcliffe (Craigielaw) into a very close 2^ndplace.  Jamie also had a magic 2.

Non-Handicap Winner:  Congratulations Harrison Holt (Tantallon Titans) who had 26 points and beat his big brother Freddie (Tantallon Titans) into 2^nd place on a count back of last 4 holes! 

Winning Team: Best two stableford points combined at each hole was won by:  Joe MacPherson (Craigielaw), Harrison Holt (Titans), Jamie Goodall (Titans) and Rory McArdle

Nearest the pin:  Well done Graeme Anderson (Dunbar) who set the bar high with his first drive of the competition and putting it about 2 foot from the pin!
