East Lothian Junior Golf Fun Competition results

The fourth East Lothian Junior Golf Fun Competition Order of Merit Event was held at North Berwick’s Children’s course on Monday 22^nd May.

Well done to all 19 juniors that turned up despite the rain all morning and were rewarded for their efforts when the skies cleared and the sun actually came out!

The format was a 9 hole Stableford with prizes for first in the Handicap and Non Handicap divisions, magic 2’s and nearest the pin.

Full Resulst:

1^st Handicap:  Jamie O’Connor (24 points) who beat his younger brother Harry into a very close second by 1 point

1^st Non Handicap:  Jamie Goodall (30 points) beating Oliver Bonnington into another close second

Any players that tied were allocated final points based on count back.

Winning team (best 2 scores per hole):  Jamie Goodall (for the 2^nd consecutive competition), Jamie O’Connor and Rory McArdle
