Judy Murray and Kris Soutar run sessions at Dunbar and North Berwick
Judy Murray and Kris Soutar of the tennis on the road team were recently down in East Lothian visiting Dunbar and North Berwick. Players, coaches and club volunteers took part in three differing sessions and thankfully the weather stayed dry all day! A coaches session being held at North Berwick started proceedings. Coaches from across East Lothian were invited to attend the session which covered summer Activity/Fun Competition. The next session two sessions were held in Dunbar. An afternoon session parent and child session was followed by an evening club volunteer session, based around running fun team competitions. All three sessions were very well attended and I’m sure all who took part would agree they gained valuable information and experience. Due to busy schedules, it is not always possible to have both Judy and Kris in attendance, so we here in East Lothian we were very lucky that they both could make it.
All in all, it was a fantastic day so massive thanks goes to Judy and Kris, all who helped organise and to both Dunbar and North Berwick Tennis Clubs for hosting the sessions.
