Gymnasts Ciara Donlevy and Caitlin O’Brien were selected to represent Great Britain at the DMT European Championships in Spain during a weekend of championships for DMT, trampolining and tumbling.

The girls travelled out to Valladolid, Spain on Monday 28th March for pre competition training for the event, which took place from 31st March – 3rd April. This was the first competition as seniors for both girls, however this did not hold them back with both girls performing well.

Ciara secured 13th place in the Individual Senior Women’s DMT competition, with Caitlin taking 6th place as well as securing a spot in the finals, where she took 7th place. This was a great success for both girls in their first senior international competition.

As a team, all the junior and senior GB gymnasts taking part in the 3 rebound disciplines all performed well, coming home with a total of 5 gold, 4 silver & 7 bronze medals.

Congratulations to Ciara and Caitlin!
