Scotland International Player Dunan Riddell cuts the ribbon.
On Sunday 16th Sept Dunbar Hockey Club along with Dunbar Junior Hockey Club had a day to celebrate our new astro pitch being opened.
A lot of hard work in the last few years from Hallhill Healthy Living Centre Committee, East Lothian Council and the Club itself made this day finally come.
We had various fun hockey tournaments throughout the day along with having bouncy castles (kids only unfortunately)! A raffle, tombolla, bake stall and games on the side. We managed to raise a massive £357.50 which was great news!
We were also lucky enough to have Duncan Riddell (Scotland International Hockey Player) come down and cut the ribbon for our official opening.
We look forward to playing on our new pitch in years to come and we want to thank everyone who was involved in making it happen
