Kings Meadow Primary 7 boys lift the Douglas Allan Shield 5 aside football festival at Meadowmill Sports Centre.
The 3 day festival that saw 15 schools taking part had some excellent matches on show, with goals flying in at all games played.
The top 6 teams that made it through to the finals were Burgh, Dunbar, Kings Meadow, Pinkie St Peters, St Gabriel's and Sanderson Wynd after successfully passing through the qualifying rounds and deserve a huge pat on the back for getting this far.
Everybody plays everybody in a round robin festival in what was some very closely contested matches so much so Kings Meadow and Pinkie had the exact same record at the end of the games and had to play each other again in play off to decide the winner.
Commiserations top Pinkie who were just edged out in the play off and deserve huge praise for their performances throughout.
Kings Meadow have ran close in previous years and were very deserving of their win.
