Musselburghs Andris wins Spotlight Award!
Congratulations on your spotlight win Andris!
Andris Meszaros a parent volunteer from Musselburgh has won a Spotlight Award. Andris’s son Jacob is very active and plays football and basketball every week and so Andris decided to get involved and now volunteers at the clubs Jacob attends.
Andris has volunteered for 3 years now and is always engaging and enthusiastic with the children. He is a great addition to any club. This is a great way to get involved as a parent who has to be taxi for children attending activities. Don’t sit in the car, get involved with your child’s activities. We need volunteers of all kinds!
He is an active member of the community giving up his time with various other groups and is heavily involved in the church community who spends a lot of his free time volunteering so this is a great way to highlight his success. Anna Potter, Musselburgh’s Active Schools coordinator nominated Andris for this award and describes him as “a wonderful asset to the Musselburgh community”.
All winners and nominees are inducted in to the Volunteer Role Of Honour
