Dunbar and Kings Meadow primary school quailifed to reperesent East Lothian at the Sportshall East Regional Finals on Wednesday 22nd February 2017.
On Wednesday 22nd February 2017 Dunbar Primary School and Kings Meadow Primary School represented East Lothian at the Sportshall East Regional Final at Meadowbank Sports Centre. There were 10 schools from all over the East Region competing at the final. The event consisted of 12 events in total 6 track and 6 field.

There were great performances by all of the pupils from both Kings Meadow and Dunbar Primary school. There was a great atmosphere at the competition with both schools cheering each other on throughout the events. At the end of the competition all pupils where called out to seat in their teams for the overall final results, all 10 schools sat in silence eagerly awaiting to find out where their team had placed. Both of the East Lothian representing schools had great overall results with Dunbar in 3rd place with 632 points and Kings Meadow in 6th with 592 points.
