3rd and final results
The third of our Winter Stableford Fun Comps was held at North Berwick children’s course on Friday 21st March 2014.
Conditions were sunny but breezy so great practice for playing golf in East Lothian!
Congratulations to Oliver Mair who won the individual competition on Friday with 28 points. Oliver beat Angus Mather into second with the better last 3 holes. Lewis MacKinnon came in third and was only one point behind with 27 points. The winning team with 54 Points was: Charlie Malcolm, Oliver Mair and Ryan Gallagher.
The final overall result was very close but congratulations to Freya Walker and Lewis MacKinnon who were out joint winners with 74 points. Archie Wilson was a very close 2nd with 73 points and Jack Lucas was 3rd with 72 points.
Over half of the players that took part in the competitions finished with a lower handicap than they started with which shows great progress. Well done to Jack Lucas who reduced his handicap the most from 36 to 24!
