A summer evening playing hockey . Perfect!
The last hockey training session for the East Lothian U10 and U12 Development squads took place on Tuesday at Preston Lodge High School where the squads have been training for the past year.
It was a hot afternoon, 26 degrees, but the kids all took to the pitch to play in mixed teams against one another. Parents and grandparents came along to watch and sat on their picnic rugs and basked in the glorious heat. They also brought lots of home baking for everyone to enjoy and at the end the kids were treated to much needed ice lollies.
A great ending to a fantastic year!
