Falcons U15’s Pathways Preparation Underway

Preparation underway for East Lothian Falcons U15’s vs Borders U15’s matches in April

Falcons U15 Prep

The East Lothian Falcons have been training together every Friday in March to prepare for the upcoming pathway fixtures against the Borders U15 teams. Off the back of a successful campaign last year where the Falcons won all four fixtures, the new crop of U15’s are busy preparing and training hard. There are some boys that took part in the fixtures last season and their experience will be invaluable to the group while there are also some promising U14 players training up with this U15 group.

Numbers at the training sessions have been very good with players nominated by their schools to attend. Two Falcons U15 squads will be finalised after the April training camp on the 3rd and 4th April. The games are a culmination of all the hard work put in over the course of the season after an October and February training camp and the March Friday training sessions. East Lothian Falcons will put out two teams at U15’s against two selected Borders regional teams. The first round of games takes place on the evening of Wednesday 19th April down in Gala with the teams then swapping over and playing against the other opposition team a week later up at Meadowmill on Wednesday 26th April. Off the back of these fixtures, a Borders/ East Lothian Regional Academy U16 squad for the start of next season will be selected and will compete in the Academy Competition against the Regional Academies from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Caledonia.

Don’t miss East Lothian Falcons U15’s vs Borders U15’s down in Gala on 19th April and up at Meadowmill on 26th April. Two U15 teams from each region will compete in the fixtures.
