Kwik cricket on display at East Lothian Games at Meadowmill Sports Centre
24 East Lothian Kwik Cricketers put on a wonderful display of batting, bowling and fielding at this year's East Lothian Games at Meadowmill. As many of the region's kwik cricketers of the past three years have moved on to hardball cricket with East Lothian County Cricket, a new group of players has emerged and they all showed off their skills at the recent East Lothian Games.
Players and supporters enjoyed being part of the multi-sport event and the festival atmosphere created by East Coast FM blasting out the tunes in the background in true T20 style!
We look forward to more Kwik Cricket at Gifford (28 August) and North Berwick (4 September).
Boys and Girls from Gifford and Gullane attend regular coaching sessions at their clubs. Gifford CC run kwik cricket on Sunday mornings from 10.15 at the Bleachfield in Gifford and Gullane CC on Monday nights from 6.30 at Memorial park in Gullane.
