Rachel Cameron, U14 pupil at Musselburgh Grammar, was part of the successful Scottish U15 team at the recent Quadrangular hosted by England.
Scotland won all three team matches against England, Ireland and Wales to lift gold in the team event, as well as claiming four out of five individual titles to mark a superb weekend for the team.
Cameron joined forces with England’s Chloe Hunt in the girl’s doubles where they reached the final only to be denied victory after a closely fought match against Scotland’s Lily Farnood and Lauren Middleton.
Cameron still U14 will hope to return to the Quadrangular International next year and build on the experience she has gained from this year’s event.
