PRESTON LODGE PUPIL COMPETES IN SINGLES AND DOUBLES
East Lothian youngster Shona Whillans will fly out this week to compete in the European U15 Championships in Basel, Switzerland from the 14th – 16th February.Scotland will send a small squad of four players – Shona Whillans (Longniddry), Rachel Lu (Edinburgh), Matthew Grimley (Glasgow) and Robbie Paterson (Eyemouth) who will all compete in the girls or boy’s singles followed by level doublesIn the girls singles Shona will start against Eleni Christodoulou of Cyprus and in the doubles Whillans and Lu will take on Swiss pair Eugenie Chapuis and Mymy Dang with the Danish top seeds awaiting them if they win their first match.
