East Lothian Football Development offers Advanced Player Development sessions to support talented players in the county and to supplement the sessions the players receive from their clubs.
Currently the Advanced Player Development sessions have centres/squads at the following ages for both boys and girls.
P6 Development Centre - Fridays 2pm to 3.30pm at Pinkie 3G Musselburgh - £3.50 per session (selection = trials only)
P7 East Lothian County Squad - Fridays 2pm to 3.30pm at Pinkie 3G Musselburgh - Free (selection = trials only)
S1 - S4 Advanced Goalkeeping Centre - Mondays 4.45pm to 6pm at Whittinghame Drive 3G Haddington - £3.50 per session (selection = nominations from schools or clubs)
East/Mid Girls Advanced Centre - Fridays 2pm to 3.30pm at Lasswade Centre Astro Bonnyrigg - Free (selection = nominations from clubs)
S1 - S4 Performance Athletes in Schools - Elite programme - £90 per term (selection = trials only)
The centres host annual trials to select players on to the programmes and players attending the trials must be attached to a club and be nominated by the club coaches to attend the trials.
The Advanced Player Development programmes have seen some players go on to have a great successes at regional, national and even professional level which is fantastic to see young players who put in all the extra hard and see the rewards on the other side.
