Dunbar swimmers rise to the challenge
Dunbar swimmers held their final event before summer break - a sponsored swim to raise funds for the club.
First and Second session swimmers had two nights to particpate, some swimmers choosing to do both!! They had 93 swimmer take part and in total completed a distance of 217.55km.
Third session (the older swimmers) were given a seperate challenge where they had to swim 6 lengths, up and down each lane, climb out and walk back to the start. A total of 22 swimmers particpated in this challenge and they covered an unbelievable 33km in one hour....equivalent to swimming the channel!!
Well done to all the swimmers involved and the coaches and committe for all their hard work in organising the event.
