Football goes down a storm in Dunbar Cluster

Another successful Active Schools Football Festival goes a head with more particpates than ever attending

Active Schools Football

Once again the weather was kind for the Dunbar Primary Cluster Football festival which brought teams from Dunbar, East Linton and West Barns Primary. Over 60 children participated throughout the festival and everyone played in 5 matches each.

The matches were played in the correct spirit and everyone gave it their all. This is the second cluster tournament that Active Schools have organised and it keeps getting better with one more tournament scheduled for the summer term. Watch this space

A big thank you must go to Mr Mackenzie (Dunbar), Mr Mells (East Linton) and Mrs Hay (West Barns) who not only brought along the children to the festival but also have coached the children throughout the school year.

Dunbar Grammar supplied to senior students for the tournament and the refereed superbly. A big thank you to Robbie Leslie and Liam Gregory for coming down and giving up their free time.
