Ross High boys hockey team play their first match
Ross High School field their first ever boy's hockey team. After only a couple of months of training after school, the boys travelled to Edinburgh to play Boroughmuir Hgih School mid January. Under the floodlights at Meggatland thirteen excited boys took to the pitch for thier first ever match. Maths teacher Eddie White, one of the sixth year girl hockey players, Olivia and her mother Lyn Taylor have not only dedicated their time to trianing these boys but have shown huge amounts of enthusiasm and drive in getting boys hockey off the ground at Ross High. Thank you to Ross High's U15 girls coach, Donna Hill for umpiring too. This is just the start for boys hockey at Ross High, we look forward to hearing about many more matches. Well done to everyone involved.
