Football is a core sport within East Lothian's Sport Development Team.

Programmes are delivered in partnership with the Scottish Football Association, Active Schools and local Community Football Clubs. 

The programmes are varied and give everyone in East Lothian from child to adult the opportunity to play and be part of the beautiful game.

Reducing Finance as a Barrier to Sport & Physical Activity

Cost should never stop your child participating in sport and physical activity. If you are worried or concerned about your ability to cover the cost related to any activity your child would like to take part in, please contact the Football Development Officer listed above to discuss in complete confidence. Any assistance is provided confidentially so that it is not obvious to other individuals that your child is receiving this support.

• Access to Leisure concession prices will be available for some classes after you click 'Book Now'.
• If your child is registered for Free School Meals through their school, they will qualify for FREE Activity.

  After registering for FREE school Meals, please contact the Football Development Officer listed above to discuss in complete confidence.
• If your child is care experienced or a young carer they will qualify for FREE Activity.

• The aim of the East Lothian Active Schools Sport & Activity Access initiatives are to reduce inequalities and help minimise barriers to participation in sport and physical activity for children and young people across East Lothian.
