2013 British Championship success

Top quality performances gain City of Edinburgh Trampoline Club their best results to date

CETC British Championships

The 2013 British Trampoline, DMT & Tumbling Championships took place on 6th &  7th July, at the LG Arena in Birmingham. Six competitors from CETC who had qualified to take part in the competition at British Gala events throughout the season, left Edinburgh airport on Friday morning, together with parents & coaches.  Three Club members qualified for Trampoline – CIARA DONLEVY , CAITLIN O’BRIEN (NAT C Under 17 Ladies) and NATASHA HOFFMANN (NAT C under 15 Girls) with six qualifiers for DMT – LAUREN MILLAR (FIG B) LAUREN JAMIESON & KIRSTEEN BOWIE (NAT C Over 19 Ladies), CAITLIN O’BRIEN & CIARA DONLEVY (NAT C Under 19 Ladies) and NATASHA HOFFMANN (NAT C Under 15 Girls)

The results from the competitors were fantastic – with CETC achieving their best British Championships results to date.  Four out of the six qualifiers made it in to Sunday’s Finals, resulting in two podium wins for DMT - Bronze for CAITLIN O’BRIEN and Gold for NATASHA HOFFMANN – who is the NAT C Under 15 Girls 2013 British National Champion.

The competitors are now having a well-earned rest, and enjoying CETC Summer Schools with other Club members, before concentrating on training leading up to the Club’s first International competition in Loule, Portugal in September, and the Scottish National Championships 2013 in November.
