Community Training Calendar

Free Training for people making a difference in their community

Welcome to the 2015-16 Community Training Calendar, based on feedback from last year we are working with our partners to offer a wide range of training opportunities, all of which are free of charge.

The training is offered to anyone who has an interest in, or is already involved in a paid or voluntary capacity with a community, youth or third sector group in East Lothian. The calendar includes courses designed to strengthen local organisations and provide opportunities to develop and consolidate your knowledge and skills. New for 2015-16 look out for:

• A series of Volunteering and Governance courses delivered by STRIVE.
• A number of courses focussing on health and wellbeing.
• A range of courses for those working with children, families and young people including Introduction to Childminding and Confident Staff, Confident Children.
