East Lothian Secondary Schools Golf Order of Merit Results
4th and final round kindly hosted by Craigielaw Golf Club on Friday 19th of April
With another capacity turnout of 33 the new Order of Merit format continued to attract players. The weather was the best we’d had since February so the players had nothing to battle apart from Craigielaw’s infamous greens! The CSS was 35 pts and the competition again counted towards handicap.
4th Round Secondary Order of Merit @ Craigielaw Results and congratulations to:
- Declan Henderson (Musselburgh Grammar / Musselburgh Golf Club) who won the Handicap Stableford divison with 40 points. Declan has played in 3 out of 4 of the Order of Merit events and his win leaves him in 2nd place overall in the Handicap Order of Merit.
- Lewis Bain (Musselburgh Grammar / Musselburgh Golf Club) who won the Scratch Stableford Division with 37 points. This also qualified Lewis to represent East Lothian at the National Scottish Schools in June.

2013 Secondary Order of Merit Final Results and congratulations to:
- Cameron MacIver (NBHS/Tantallon GC) winner of the Handicap Order of Merit. Cameron only competed in 2 : 4 of the events and won both playing 6 below his handicap at Gullane and 4 below his handicap at Kilspindie.
- Marc Reid (PLHS / Royal Musselburgh GC) winner of the Scratch Order of Merit. Marc competed in all 4 events and won the scratch at 2, playing 3 both his handicap at Gullane and 4 below his handicap at Kilspindie.
- North Berwick High School winners of the Team Order of Merit beating Musselburgh Grammar into 2nd place by a clear 50 points. North Berwick HS fielded a full team at every event plus they filled as many extra spaces as were available with additional players. The Team Order of Merit has replaced the previous Secondary Golf League which had been won by Preston Lodge High School for the past 4 years
