Total Adventures and Foxlake Adventures join forces once again!!

Wakeboarding is another huge success as part of the Total Adventure Programme

Wakeboarding at Foxlakes

Wakeboarding has again been a huge success as part of Active Schools, Total Adventure programme, down at Foxlake Adventures in Dunbar. Callum Mark, from Foxlake, has kindly offered to give us an insight into what the programme is like and how successful it has been.

“The Foxlake Active Schools programme ran to capacity again for the 1st term of the academic year, running from 1pm to 7pm throughout August/September 2013. The progression of all the children this year was exceptional with every participant passing their Bronze certificate and some even progressing through their Silver award.”

“The programme follows the British Waterski and Wakeboard accredited ‘Cutting Edge’ development pathway through from Bronze to Platinum, to showcase the progression of the children this year we created a short film on youtube which is well worth a watch; www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0dn9s0lNG8

“The sessions were jam packed with lots of fun team games, challenges and the odd splash down the FoxFall zip line, not to mention the endless battles for the ‘King of the Ringo’. The Active schools/Cutting Edge programme proved yet again that there is no better introduction to wakeboarding and a fantastic opportunity for any child looking to get into the sport.”

“We cannot wait to have you guys back in 2014, so make sure you get your forms in from your Active Schools Coordinator and join us down at the lake from the Spring term next year.”

Active Schools would like to thank Callum and everyone at Foxlakes for their continued support and look forward to an even more successful 2014.
