If you’d like to get in on some court action, look no further than your local East Lothian tennis facilities – now available in Haddington, Dunbar, East Linton, Musselburgh, North Berwick, Tranent and Gullane. Fifteen new courts were built last year and public access is available at all; so regardless of whether you’re an absolute beginner or a budding pro - everyone can enjoy them!
Located in the picturesque Neilson Park, Haddington’s tennis courts are available for public bookings via enjoyleisure’s Aubigny Sports Centre by calling 01620 820650.
With stunning artificial clay courts and the option of floodlighting, Musselburgh’s tennis courts, located within Lewisvale Park, are also available to the community all year round. Please call enjoyleisure’s Musselburgh Sports Centre on 0131 653 5208 to make use of these fantastic facilities.
You can also make your way along to the three new porous macadam tennis courts in Polson Park, Tranent which are available for free! No bookings are required - just turn up and play! (You will have to bring your own racket though!)
North Berwick’s Seasonal Tennis facilities at East Links Park are now open too. Head along to East Links, where you can hire a court, racket and balls and enjoy a game at your leisure.
All of the Tennis Clubs across the county including Haddington, Musselburgh, Dunbar, East Linton, Gullane, Longniddry and North Berwick offer comprehensive tennis programmes for children and adults of all ages and abilities. As well as coaching; social and competitive opportunities are also available for participants.
