Wednesday 14th March saw the return of the East Lothian S1 to S3 Secondary Swimming Championships.
In its third year, Ross High School has had a terrific record of performance each year, and hopes were high.
With NEW swimmers in each team, and NEW Cheerleaders with Mark & Sandy, the pupils themselves ran the team with slick timings and even slicker swims.
With 32 of the 35 events entered, Ross HS took 16 x 1sts, 10 x 2nds, 4 x 3rds and 2 x 4ths.
Though success, trophies and acoldaes were deservisdly handed out at the end of the meet, the pupils behaviour, attitude and sportsmanship were brillant throughout the day, and deserve recognition.
Huge thanks to Sandy who accomopanied the team, and of course Enjoy Leisure Swimming Development Officer, Karen Ferguson, who organised and kept everything to time.
In fact, the only time Ross HS failed to perform, was at the end, and were lae for their presentation and photos.
Well done to Musselburgh GS as well, who picked up their first EL Swimming Silverware too!
