Three in a row for Ross High

Three wins out of four for the Tranent School

RH

On Thursday 15th March, over 80 swimmers came together to compete at the East Lothian S1-S3 Swimming Gala at Mercat Gait in Prestonpans. We had representation from Dunbar Grammar, Knox Academy, Musselburgh Grammar, Preston Lodge and Ross High, with all the swimmers looking to win their school points towards the trophies.

The swimmers competed in butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle and individual medley events with a number of relay events also being contested.

There was some fantastic swimming on display from all schools and the team support was incredible, with each school encouraging their team mates in each event.

A huge thank you to our referee John Sluman, our commentator Duncan McKinnell and Ross Mathieson for marshalling. Their valuable assistance helped the event run so smoothly.
